Basic Story

So the first thing that popped into my head, when it came to the terms of Wondertainment and AWCY? (along with discussing points that a story must be told to really make the reader invested in something) was perhaps a father creating this anomalous Rubiks Cube for his sick, bedridden son. He couldn't leave his bed, but he wanted to see the worlds that he dreamed of and the world outside his room, so his father created the cube.

By scrambling the cube and creating certain patterns on the top of the cube, as detailed by a small note he wrote to go alongside the cube, his son could go to different worlds. How he discovered those worlds I've yet to assertain, along with how he made the cube. Differing hume levels, maybe? Not too sure. Perhaps the father could have even been a part of one of the previously mentioned groups?

Basic Anomaly

A Rubiks Cube that, depending on the pattern of colours on its top face, can take you to different places. Thinking of placing a "Red Sea Object" twist on it so that, whatever colour is primarily matched on the top (eg. green cross) it takes you to a place of primarily that colour (eg. a lush, green rainforest). Base them around beginner solving moves, because this toy was intended for a child.

The top face always has the center colour as yellow, because yellow is directly ajacent to the bottom face of white. As such, the yellow center is a constant. Not all formations produce an effect.

Examples of formations and what they do are;

• the white "daisy" cross (four white centerpieces); takes you to a field of daisies or a land of rolling hills
• a green "carnation" cross (four green centerpieces); takes you to a lush rainforest (scp-xxxx-a instances? animals? fauna?)
• a red "rose" cross (four red centerpieces); takes you to a volcanic area in structure, perhaps somewhere in rome
• an orange "woodbine" cross (four orange centerpieces); N/A
• a blue "lilac" cross (four blue centerpieces); a shoreline, where a multitude of oceanic creatures can be seen up close in depths not ordinarily viable.
• the yellow cross (all yellow centerpieces); a house, presumably that of the creator, though decidedly less decrepid than where the cube was found.
