Mira had been a pirate for years, now. She'd been completely alone for so long; a drifter, never truly knowing where she'd end up. She just landed at Krosuum with no real goal in mind. She'd spoken to all sorts of people on her journeys through the Everdrift Sea. Only one really stood out though. She'd thought it was love, but alas, they'd parted ways quite some time ago.
"Ey! Ye there? I said it's near time! Ye should really get on your way."
"Oh… Aye, sorry, it's just been such a while. You've no idea how lonely it's been on those seas… Ye know anyone by the name o' Vischson?" Mira spoke, breaking out of her trance. It'd been so long…
"Can't quite say that I do. Now, are ye gonna get back on yer ship, or are ye tryin' to be late there?"
"Aye, sorry," Mira said, turning on her heel, before looking back over her shoulder, "Ye sure? I was 'ere last I saw 'em, is all."
"Sorry to disappoint, but I'm certain I ain't heard o' anyone with that name before… Now get goin'!"
"Alright, alright, I'm gettin' on me way."
"So, what's this whole 'Seyzon' celebration about, again? Better question, why do I have to participate?"
"It's to celebrate the ever wondrous Seyzon taking a form in this world. You should know all of this; it was in your higher education."
"The higher education that you all put me through even though I said I wanted to be an explorer."
"You only wanted to because you met the outcast."
"She has a name."
"And why would you know that? Because you went against The Great and spoke to her!"
"She's a good person! She chose that life for herself!"
"Exactly, she chose to leave her town behind. You're not following in her steps."
"Why not? It seems like a good idea to me. Last time I saw her she told me all the places she'd been. Places none of us ever get to go! Like Krosuum, Actrr… Even Strrik!"
"You know exactly why you're not allowed there."
"Those stories were just that! Stories! I don't get why our people aren't allowed out just because some stupid old man got scared!"
"How dare you? We do not speak of him in that manner, and you know that!"
"I'll talk about him however I want! I don't even want to be a part of this!"
"Well you are. There's nothing you can do to change it, so get ready."
"Ey, what's all the fancy decorations fer? Sorry, I'm not from around 'ere," Mira asked the person beside her.
"Not from around here? Where are you from, then?"
"I guess ye could say I'm a wanderer. I sail the seas 'round."
"A wanderer?" They gasped, "You're an outcast? Here?"
"If that's what ye prefer," Mira said with a shrug, "I'm mostly 'ere to take part in somethin' I'd heard about a bit ago. Somethin' called the 'Seyzon'?"
"The Seyzon's Change. A wondrous celebration. It's absolutely horrible to hear it from the mouth of an outcast." They'd practically spit the last word out, with so much venom it was near comparison to the TerraiXrrs she'd seen in Strrik.
"Sorry about that, then. Just a bit curious about yer traditions, was all."
Vischson was behind the MainStage, still trying to really get into their role.
"All you have to do is say the lines. That's it."
"Why? What am I doing it for? Who am I even meant to be in this?"
"You represent the Wind, herself. Now get out there. There are people waiting."
Vischson finished putting on their gauntlet
